This simple recipe is perfect for warm, sunny days. It is a light, but fulfilling lunch that is easy to make within minutes.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of chicken breast (12.5 oz per can)
- 4-5 sliced green onions or leaks
- Half cup of Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
- 1-2 tbsp. of dijon mustard
- 1-2 tbsp. of honey
- Bread Suggestion: Original King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- Best served with grapes
Steps:
1. Drain the water from the can, and put the chicken in a large bowl.
2. Make sure the chicken is not too chunky and looks shredded.
3. Next, slice up the green onions and toss into the bowl and stir.
4. Put the half a cup of Miracle Whip into the bowl. If the chicken looks a little dry after adding the Whip, then add as needed.
5. Add 1-2 tbsp. of mustard and 1-2 tbsp. of honey and stir.
6. Scoop the chicken salad and place it on to your choice of bread and it is ready to serve!
