College is expensive. Between tuition, food, books, and fun, there's not a ton of money to spare. Here are some easy ways to make money as a college student.
Become a note taker.
The website www.oneclass.com offers you money to post your notes. If you're like me, you already take notes on textbook readings and in class, so posting them is just a small extra step. 10 notes is about $10 (in PayPal gift card--like cash, Amazon gift cards, or Starbucks gift cards), so it's basically $1 per note that you post... getting paid for just doing what I usually do? Sounds good to me.
Participate in experiments/studies on your campus.
Google "(your school) paid experiments" and see what comes up. Of course, make sure the experiment is safe and all. Often times, you can get about $15 per hour.
Sell old clothes on Poshmark.
Poshmark is an online marketplace. You just download the app and start listing! Take a picture of your clothes, give a description, pick a price, and promote your closet on the app to attract buyers. Once your item sells, Poshmark sends you a prepaid, pre-addressed shipping label. Then, package your item in a free USPS box or any standard brown box and send it off! Remember, the label is prepaid... you pay nothing for shipping.
Fill out online surveys.
Google "paid surveys" and get paid to take short surveys! Each survey only pays a small amount, but it adds up. My favorite sites are MySurvey and Toluna, but there are a ton out there.
Happy money-making!
