There comes a point in every college kid's life that they have to start making their own meals, and for 90% of college kids this will be the first time they are cooking for themselves. This leads to a lot of microwavable meals and eating out. Parents make it look so easy to do, but for some reason college students can't figure it out. But cooking for yourself doesn't have to be hard, here are 8 easy recipes any college student can make.

1. Hot dog crescent rolls

All you have to do is roll some hot dogs in a crescent roll and pop them in the oven!

2. Pulled Pork

You can either get a tray from the store that you just pop in the oven or stick the pork in a crock pot and leave it there all day.

3. Pasta

Any fool can make pasta. You just put it in a pot and don't let it overflow. Throw in some vegetables and you've got something fancy.

4. Rotisserie Chicken

No cooking involved.

5. Make your own pizza

A slightly classier version of frozen pizza. All you need is sauce, cheese, crust and whatever toppings you like.

6. Pork chops

All you have to do is season the pork chops and stick them in the oven.

7. Chicken pot pie

Cook a meat and whatever vegetables you've got in a pan and then add some rice and you're done.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.
