Do you need some extra cash but don't have a lot of time to dedicate making it? Let's be honest, who doesn't like this idea? Well, this is some good news for you then! There are ways to pad your bank account with minimum effort. Some of these are so simple you barely have to roll out of bed to do them, and others involve a little more work, but nothing you can't handle. I am personally always looking out for ways to add some cash to my wallet and these are some of the easiest and safest ways I have found to do so without devoting every waking hour to it. You wont get rich with any of them, but seriously, who would expect to? Try out one, or two, or heck...try 'em all and see what a few extra dollars a month can do for you!

1. Make Coffee Money While You Watch T.V.

This first one I can actually attest to because I often spend my spare time filling out surveys. While you won't get rich doing this, you can make some spare change to cover that daily coffee habit! I can also attest to the fact that a lot of those survey companies you find online are kinda shady. Stick with three of the best known and reputable sites. InboxDollars, HarrisPollOnline and Vip Voice. You might as well get paid while you're spending time in front of the T.V.

2. Like to Party? Host One That Makes You Money in the Process!

In this category the options are almost endless. You can host a Tupperware party, sell cosmetics such as Avon or Mary Kay, Lingerie, Jewelry, Clothing and shoes, Candles and even Food. Choose from some of these links or do a little digging on the internet to find a reputable company that you would be comfortable with and sign up. It's really not as difficult as you would think because a lot of these companies do most of the work for you including sending out the invites. I have hosted several of these type parties and they are always fun and profitable. The more people you invite, the more potential you have, so pad that guest list and have fun!

3. Get Paid While You Shop on Amazon

If you shop on Amazon, this is an easy one to do. Just install Shoptracker on your computer and you will instantly earn $3.00. Keep this app installed and you will earn an additional $3.00 every month. Why, you ask? Because this app is connected to HarrisPollOnline a company that works with businesses to try to improve their customers experience. This app tracks your purchase habits, (but not any personal information such as your name or banking information) and uses it to report these experiences to Amazon. Easy-Peasy! And if you decide you don’t like it, just uninstall it. I can personally recommend this one, doesn’t affect my computer or my shopping. Check it out!

4. Do You Have a Bunch of CDs/DVDs Stuffed Around Your House? Decluttr for Cash!

Just head to the Decluttr website or download the app and start selling them for cash! Decluttr will buy video games, DVDs, CDs and even stuff like gaming consoles, cell phones and the like. This is a great way to get some extra cash and clean up the house at the same time. Win, Win!

5. Get Paid for Watching Video's

By joining Swagbucks, you will earn money just for watching videos made by ad sponsors. In order to get their brands out, they pay SwagBucks, who in turn pays you a little bit of cash for each one you watch. Pretty cool way to earn a couple bucks a weeks for watching commercials! And right now, you will get an extra $5.00 just for signing up!

6. Get Paid to Lose Weight With HealthyWage!

This one takes some work and commitment on your part. Start by joining HealthyWage then decide how much you want to lose, how long you want to accomplish it and place a monthly wager on it. You can bet almost any amount and take as much time as you need. There is a calculator to play around with on site that is a big help. You could win up to $10,000! If your serious about losing weight, why not bet on it and get a great payday when you reach your goal?!

7. Get Apps for Your Phone That Pay You!

Another great way to earn some extra cash for little effort, is by downloading apps that actually pay you for keeping them on your phone. The way it works is you download an app from SavvyConnect or Nielsen Mobile Panel and they will collect usage data to send to companies that want to know how and when you interact with your phone on the web. This lets them develop better ways to interact with their potential customers. SavvyConnect will pay you $5.00 per device, per month, for each month you keep their app installed. Now that's some real extra earnings. Check around for other paying apps, just be careful that they are real companies first before installing. It's worth a look-see!

8. Plug This Into Your Router and Get Paid

Just plug this box from Digital Reflection Panel into your router and start earning around $170.00 or more a year! This company collects anonymous information about your internet usage habits across devices you use every day in an effort to improve customer experiences for businesses. (They do not collect any sensitive information such as medical, banking, passwords etc.) Once you register your devices, phone, laptop, tablets etc. you don’t have much more to do. You will have occasional updates and surveys, but they do not involve much work. (Bonus the link will take you to a page for more information and contains even more ideas!)

9. Sign Up for Amazon's Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a crowd-sourcing work site that pays you to complete contracted work tasks. Some tasks may take only a few minutes to do, but they pay only $0.20. Some bigger tasks take longer and might pay $10.00. This is not a get rich quick scheme, but you can make some decent money depending on how much time and effort you put into it. You work when you want too, but you must complete the work in the time allotted. To sign up and take a look, just click here.

10. Join Ebates and Get Paid to Shop Online

If you do your shopping online, and these days, who doesn't? I recommend joining the number one site that pays you to shop, Ebates. This company links its' customers to over 2000 stores scoring you rebates, discounts, coupons and great deals on a daily basis. You also earn cash back on almost anything you purchase from food to electronics. Really, there's no reason not to join. If your shopping anyway, why not get paid to do it?

11. Work Customer Service From Home

There are really some good work from home customer service employers out there. I know, I worked for one. You can specify what times you are available, split shifts, trade shifts, share shifts, work full-time or part-time, all from the comfort of your own home. (In your pajamas if you like!) Most companies require you have high speed internet, a landline and headphones. Some send you the actual computer you will use with their proprietary software installed, others send you the software to load onto your own computer. One to start with is Sykes Home powered by AlpineAccess. If you want the safety of a steady job with regular income, this is a good way to do it! Just remember, when choosing a work from home job, do your homework on the company. There are a lot of scams out there. A good rule of thumb is if they ask for money up front, buyer beware!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
