With Halloween fast approaching, costumes and candy are floating around everywhere! If you are looking for something easy, cute, and creative to use as your costume this year, I have just the thing. I dressed up as this when I was in the 5th grade, and its still my favorite costume to this day. A fifties girl is one of the simplest, and in my opinion, one of the cutest costumes to make. All you need is:

1. sweater


2. solid colored blouse


3. poodle skirt




4. bobby socks


5. white keds


6. neck scarf

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
