Whether you're looking for a GPA booster, that last fine arts or general ed. class or a credit filler after dropping a class, seek no more. This is your guide to the 10 easiest classes to take at Ohio University.

1. IHS 3010 - Spirituality in Healthcare

This is an online, 3-credit, half-semester class that fulfills the Tier II General Education requirement. It requires one assignment per week, which is a writing prompt on a discussion board that the instructor uploads. It requires very little work; a lot of different articles and videos are put up for each week's course materials for you to choose from. Pick one, watch or read it, answer the questions in essay format, and then reply to two people's posts. It's a very eye-opening class that leads to interesting discussions and is highly recommended.

2. MUS 1000 - Intro to Music Theory

Looking for a class to fulfill that Fine Arts credit? Take this beginner 3-credit class for non-music majors. The general opinion of students who've taken it previously is that it's ridiculously easy and calls for an automatic A.

3. IART 1180- Introduction to the Arts: Objects and Events

Students suggest taking this 3-credit class with Chao Zhou, who is generally known as sweet and easygoing. She has canceled class a lot, so you can expect to have some free Fridays. There are only two exams that are both very easy AND are open-notes. She collects your notebooks on the day of exams and leaves encouraging notes to you.

4. UC 1100 - Learning Strategies

You can't get any easier than a 2-credit, half-semester class run by the Academic Achievement Center in the library. Not only is it easy, but it helps you with valuable study skills, exam preparation, time management for assignments, and offers tutoring.

5. CAS 1130 - Career Planning in the Liberal Arts

Another effortless one is this 2 -credit class that only meets on Mondays for the fall semester. It allows students to explore and discuss career options, discuss important factors in finding a job, and learn how to make the most of their majors. The instructor teaches you about self-exploration in your skills and interests that can help when entering into the workforce.

6. BIOS 1030 - Human Biology 1 for nonmajors

This 3-credit class fulfills the Tier II Natural Sciences credit and provides a general overview of the human body and its organ systems. Students have said that this resembles a simple anatomy class. Study and attend class and you will be fine. Dr. Perez is one of the instructors for the course and she is an awesome professor, so you will be in good hands with her.

7. MUS 1240 - History of Rock Music I

This 3-credit class fulfills the Tier II Fine arts requirement and "examines birth, growth, and development of rock music through its acceptance as art form with significant influence on youth culture and resulting social implications." In other words, you'll learn some interesting facts about rock music and listen to some good tunes, then receive an A.

8. FAR 1500 - Viewing Performance

Here is another 2-credit Tier II Fine arts class. This is a 2-hour seminar class that has you attend events put on by the Schools of Music, Dance, and Theater followed by seminars on "characteristics of the medium and artistic concerns."

9. GEOG 1200 - Human Geography

Popular among history majors, this is a 3-credit class fulfilling the Tier II Social Sciences requirement. The course focuses on different regions and how they interact in terms of religion, population, settlement, political and economic landscapes, and human/environment interactions.

It "examines various roles of health care professionals in health care delivery system, describes education and training program options, explains how a professional obtains a credential/license to practice, and explores opportunities for employment." Need some professional advice? This is the place to hear it once a week. (Can't go wrong with a Grey's Anatomy reference for all the fans out there.)

We all know the feeling of freaking out over what classes you still have to take or how to make up for those dropped classes. It's better to do your research so you don't take a shot in the dark! Happy studying, bobcats!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
