People are always looking for ways to make extra money in their spare time alongside their regular job. Some great ideas include odd jobs, garage sales, and driving for Uber or Lyft.

However, a less common, but still quite effective way to earn money alongside a regular job is reselling. Reselling refers to the simple task of buying items and reselling them at a higher price.

The first step to making the most out of reselling is to locate the best places to purchase products from. Some options for places to buy items for reselling include thrift stores and dollar stores. These are places which most people tend not to shop, these stores usually don't sell online, and they tend to have relatively cheap prices.

While at the dollar store, all the items will be priced at about a dollar. It's in the shop's name after all. It is quite easy to use your phone to check item prices online. There are even some apps that allow users to scan barcodes. The use of such apps will make it even easier to find prices for these items online.

It is important to look for the price at which the items consistently sell at and not a common listing price. You want to buy items you know are consistently selling at a price higher than what you are buying it for. Items bought from a thrift store or dollar store can be sold online on eBay or Amazon.

There is another way to effectively resell, and you don't even have to put on pants to do it. You can do it from the comfort of your home. This method is buying items on eBay and reselling them on Amazon. Since Amazon is more widely used than eBay, prices for items on Amazon tend to be higher than prices for the exact same items on eBay. Thus, buying on eBay and reselling on Amazon can be an effective way to resell items for a profit.

You can even take this one step further by taking the time to do some research to find more unknown websites. There would be a good chance that those websites have prices even lower than eBay since eBay is still a well-known website. Just make sure to check the credibility of any website before buying from it to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
