Helix or Upper Lobe?

I'm going to get my ears pierced! I'm super excited but I don't know which one to get! Helix or upper lobe? I already have the standard lobe but I want something more this time. So here I'm going to list out my pros and cons.

Helix

Upper Lobe

Ok, so we've established that they're both really cool. I think I am already leaning toward helix because it is extra cool, but here's my concern: Do you just get one ear or two? If it's just one, which one? From the pictures and the friends I know that have piercings I think everyone does it on the right side. It really does look cool and I do love cuffs....

BUT, an upper lobe piercing does provide more earring options. If I get a helix piercing, hoops are the way to go. But if I get an upper lobe piercing I can do hoops...

or studs...

or dangly ones...

Or these cool double-matchy connected ones!

And another pro for getting the second standard piercing, aside from all of the options, is that I can get one on each ear and then it would be symmetrical. Another plus is that I read that the second standard piercing hurts less, and I don't do well with needles. I got my first ear piercing in second grade and it has taken me 13 years to even consider getting another one! But I think it's time! I'm ready for a change and I think I've made up my mind!

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
