10 Emotions Every Eagles Fan Feels During Football Season

I don't know about you, but the best season is right around the corner...football season. If any of you are like me, you're a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. You cheer when they score, intercept, or make any play that actually helps us, and for everything else they do, you scream at the TV, or Chip and you cringe, a lot. For most, there are a whole slew of emotions that we go through as fans while watching our favorite Birds fly.

1. Excitement

Game Day is finally here! Time to watch our boys fly and soar over any team that tries to stand in our way.

2. Anxious

Kickoff has happened and the game is underway...we hold our breath to see if the Bird Gang can make an actual play.

3. Shock

We're in the middle of the second quarter, and we're in the lead!

4. Anger

Suddenly, it's the two minute warning to half time, and the defensive line forgets how to make a single play. In the blink of an eye, our lead is gone.

5. Happiness

The second half is underway; we have a renewed faith in our team.

6. Frustration

We have made it half way through the third quarter, and the score hasn't changed...

7. Scared

We dive headfirst into the fourth quarter, and we make it all the way into the red zone..this could be the play we've been waiting for.

8. Disappointment

1st and goal and for whatever reason, we decide to throw it...here comes a probable interception.

9. Relief

The throw is incomplete, but we're down to the last few minutes of the game...Second and goal, can we pull through?

10. Ecstasy

The final minute of the game, the QB drops back, takes his time to look for an open pass, and makes a beautiful connection with the wide receiver...we win!

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!! No matter what team you root for, even if it's the wrong one, happy football season to all!!! I hope the Eagles beat all of your teams. Do I hear Superbowl L anyone?

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
