As the holidays roll around a lot of us are trying to find thoughtful gifts and some of us (college students) are on a budget. Here are 6 easy and not expensive DYI gifts:

Bath Bombs:

Make a couple of these for your friends! Such an easy and fun gift that your friends and family are sure to love.

Make Costume Ornaments:

There are so many ornaments that are super easy (and cheap) to make. This is such a cute idea if you celebrate Christmas and family members love anything costume made.

Holiday Basket:

Throw together a basket of fun cute items that all relate to each other! This is so easy and fun to make and anyone will love it.

Knitting:

If you're skillful in this area, which I am not, making someone a scarf or hat is fun and pretty easy plus a lot of people find knitting really relaxing.

This is cute and easy and you probably have all the ingredients in your home already! Make the jar cute and festive and it's sure to be the perfect gift for anyone.

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
