Dunkin's Seasonal Holiday Flavors Are Here!

The last few months at Dunkin' were all about pumpkin, but now it's time for Christmas flavors!

Dunkin's Seasonal Holiday Flavors Are Here!

If you know me at all (or if you read my article last year about Dunkin' vs. Starbucks Halloween flavors), then you know I'm an avid coffee drinker. I can't have my coffee black, it has to be loaded with flavor. That means I'm always aware of when local coffee shops begin selling new flavors. In terms of the holiday season, some people think it's too early to be celebrating Christmas and winter in general. It's not even Thanksgiving yet! Pumpkin flavors shouldn't go out of season yet! Despite what those people think, I have to disagree, because Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The second Halloween ends, my Christmas music starts and I'm ready to start shopping for presents. Dunkin' and Starbucks also agree with this mindset, because their Christmas flavors are already out. If you're wondering what to order this holiday season, I'm here to give you the down-low. After all, I am a coffee expert (just kidding)!

I love sweets with a cinnamon or spice flavor, from snickerdoodle to gingersnap. That being said, I had high expectations when I saw that Dunkin' had a gingerbread flavored coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for it too much. Maybe this is because this drink is meant to be purchased as a hot coffee and I ordered an iced coffee, or maybe it even tastes better as a latte and I'm just close-minded about lattes. I wish I could say more about this drink, but I love iced coffee. I do think it would taste better as a hot coffee/latte. Maybe I'll try it tomorrow.

Dunkin' also has a peppermint mocha flavor. I absolutely adore this flavor. It's the perfect combination of peppermint with chocolate deliciousness. Again, I ordered this as an iced coffee, and I must say it tasted excellent. It's currently not cold enough outside for me to want a hot coffee, but as the weather starts to turn, I'll start drinking hot coffee. I think this drink will be excellent as a hot coffee or latte.

While I was looking at the menu, I found that Dunkin' sells a sugarplum flavored coffee too. I don't think my local Dunkin' has this, and if it does, I've never had it. I'm going to have to look into this flavor more to actually decide how I feel about it because I've never really consumed anything sugarplum flavored. You can guarantee I'll try it though, because I love coffee!

Basically, I do enjoy the Christmas flavors, but they'd probably be better as hot drinks when it's cold outside. Also, if you're not ready for Christmas just yet, the pumpkin flavors are still available. I know I'll buy those coffees as long as they're still being sold!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
