Dunkin's Halloween Donuts

I ordered all of the Halloween donuts... for research purposes of course.

Just two months after Dunkin' Donuts moved to drop the "Donuts" from their name, they released their biggest donut campaign in years. While the timing is a bit confusing, the donuts are nothing short of amazing.

Everything about the campaign is light, festive, and happy.

How could they really go wrong when the face of the campaign is the dancing Halloween Pumpkin man?

The Halloween campaign includes over 10 Halloween themed donuts, all with fun, festive names and color changes.

To make sure I presented accurate information, I went to Dunkin' and ordered all of the Halloween donuts they had.

For research, of course.

Here are my favorite donuts that Dunkin' has this season!

1. Spider

An orange frosted donut with a chocolate munchkin in the middle with frosting legs. Two donuts for the price of one? Sign me up!

2. Boston Scream

Boston Creme donuts are delicious to begin with, but the pun really sweetens the deal.

3. Nilla Nightmare

The creme tastes like buttercream frosting... and it's amazing. If you haven't tried a Vanilla Creme donut, now is your chance.

4. Witch’s Brew-Berry

A glazed blueberry donut with purple frosting... super tasty.

5. Spooky Sprinkles

Adding a little festivity to Plain Jane.

6. Vampire’s Delight

Okay, so maybe it's just jelly. But bonus points on the name.

Other Halloween donuts that Dunkin' has this season that I couldn't get my hands on:

Purple Potion: Vanilla Frosted Donut with purple icing, topped with chocolate and orange sprinkles

Full Moon: Powdered Donut with orange-colored powdered sugar

Ghoulish Glazed: Glazed Donut

Wicked Chocolate: Glazed Chocolate Donut

Owl Fashioned: Old Fashioned Donut

Choc-O-Lantern: Double Chocolate Donut

Happy October, and happy donut eating!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
