When I started my sophomore year of high school I couldn't go to school unless I finished my small caramel iced coffee, with cream and sugar. Now I'm almost in my senior year of college and it still would be a struggle to make it through my days without my, now medium, iced coffee! I'm also so lucky to have a Dunkin' super close to my house that if I really need my double dose, I can always swing by for seconds. If you love coffee as much as me, chances are you have been to both Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks. In my opinion Starbucks taste like old burnt coffee. I would choose Dunkin' over Starbucks any day
And here are just a few reasons why...
1. It's cheaper
Let's get real here, who wants to pay $7 for some coffee that you most likely don't even know what is mixed with it since their menu is the most complicated thing.
2. The menu is much similar.
It's labeled, Iced Coffee, Hot Coffee, swirls and more. When I go into a Starbucks I literally have to study their menu and guess what I want. Nothing is simple there.
3. The taste
Dunkin's coffee is always perfect! Starbucks is just blahhh. I can't even explain it.. it doesn't even taste like coffee
4. Dunkin' puts the cream and sugar in for you
You don't have to tell them you need this many sugars and this many creams and hope you don't spill your coffee while attempting to fix your coffee while driving.
5. They have Coolattas
This is the most perfect drink to get on a hot summer day that no other coffee shop has!
6. You don't have to learn a new language
The employees at Dunkin' understand you, you don't have to come up with these crazy coffee flavors like you do at Starbucks.
7. Fresh donuts
Unlike Starbucks who has "pastry" items for sale, Dunkin' gives you fresh, fluffy donuts. Or if you would like Munchkins!
8. You don't have to worry about your name getting spelled wrong.
Dunkin is that good they don't need to ask you what your name is and write it in horrible handwriting, and spell it wrong.
9. The people
The employees at Dunkin' just seem to be much happier than the ones at Starbucks. Probably because they have to focus so hard on one drink, I surprised you don't need a degree to work at that place.
10. The colors
Who wants to wear a boring green apron. Dunkin's colors are so more appealing.
11. The cups.
The offer you a small discount when you bring in a cup to get refilled. It's seriously the best thing. The cups are only like $5. You can't get that at Starbucks unless you plan on buying some mug designed by some famous painter for $25
