Why Dunkin Donuts Is Better Than Starbucks

Let's stop lying to ourselves-- we know Dunkin is superior.

The age-old debate: Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts? Some argue that Starbucks is better, but they are wrong. Nothing can beat the beauty that is Dunkin Donuts, and here's why:

1. They Have Donuts

Need I say more? Unlike Starbucks, Dunkin offers a multitude of delicious donuts. From glazed, to chocolate, to season flavors like pumpkin or peppermint, Dunkin has it all. Coffee and donuts were meant to be together, so this already launches Dunkin up to superstardom.

2. It's Way Cheaper

A cup of coffee shouldn't clear out your wallet. Starbucks charges a hefty price for the coffee itself, and then if you want any flavoring or extras, the bill adds up quickly. On the other hand, Dunkin doesn't charge you for any extra flavor shots or toppings-- so go ahead, order that extra caramel everyone knows you want. Also, it offers happy hour throughout most of the year, so you can get an iced coffee for only 99 cents. Starbucks needs to step it up, honestly.

3. They Give Away Stuff All. The. Time.

Dunkin just loves to give away free coffee, and what can be better than that? National Coffee Day? You get a free coffee. National Donut Day? You guessed it, free donuts. During most sports playoff seasons, if your home-team wins, you can get a free coffee. The list goes on and on. How often does Starbucks give away free things?

That's what I thought.

4. It Just Tastes Better

This is a personal preference, but Dunkin does taste better. There are numerous more ways to customize your drink, and they offer specialty coffees like lattes, macchiatos, and mochas-- just like Starbucks. They just happen to do it, well, better.

So save yourself the time and money and head over to Dunkin next time you're craving a coffee instead of Starbucks. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
