1. Canal Park

Canal Park is one of the most popular locations in town. There are visitors every weekend, and many college students head down there when the weather is nice. There are places to eat, places to job, and it is home to the Aerial Lift Bridge.

2. Park Point

If you drive across the Aerial Lift Bridge, you will hit Park Point. It is a beach that is a nice getaway in the summer, but can also be a cool place to visit in the warmer days of winter.

3. Enger Tower

Enger Tower is a cobblestone tower that provides panoramic views of Duluth. From the top of the tower you get a nice view of the city and Canal Park. It is especially great to visit in the fall when the leaves are all changing colors.

4. Gooseberry Falls State Park

If you have time to take a short road trip go along the North Shore Scenic Drive. There are many beautiful spots to pull over and take pictures. This scenic route will take you to Gooseberry.

5. Split Rock Lighthouse

If you go to Gooseberry Falls, you should also check out Split Rock Lighthouse. It is a historic lighthouse that also provides great views of Lake Superior.
