Down To Shop

Down To Shop (DTS) is an app launched in April. That allows you to collect clout (Their currency) by watching short product skits, live shows, and advertisements. Once you earn enough clout, you can keep being a cool kid or trade-in your clout for some pretty sick prizes. Such as AirPods, Nintendo Switch, or a Yeti Mic just to list a few. They now have over 300 prizes for you to pick from.

DTS host four live shows every day during the week. Don't worry you will never miss out on the fun if you enable your notifications. Notifications are sent out right before the show goes live.

The Daily Drop happens every weekday. It's an exciting live show that offers you prizes for reduced prices. Not only that but there is trivia throughout the live show. So make sure to pay attention to Sammy as he describes the different products.

If games are more your style make sure to tune into Bingo Bango, where you can try your luck at guessing the right emojis. This lottery-style came doesn't cost any clout to pay, but the clout pays off if you guess both of them right is so worth it.

They are always adding a new thing to the app like they're live show Winner Spinner. Where you win clout based on what emoji that spinner lands on.

There are also daily games throughout the app. Such as trivia that is based on the skits that are throughout the app. Work searches where you try to figure out which words are or are not in the search. Screen-shot games that require you to screenshot a moving DTS logo in a certain spot, or take a picture of a kitten while it's awake.

Test your luck with The Gimme Gameshow. Purchase a ticket for 1,000 Clout and you have the opportunity to win exciting prizes, worth much more than 1,000 clout. Drawings happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Although if you do enter the drawing make sure you have your phone close. If you win you will have to answer when the DTS staff call you. Just imagine having your ticket drawn and missing the call, it would be tragic.

If you're not one to take risk don't worry there are plenty of prizes in the store for set prices which you can save up for. I personally had my eyes set on a pair of AirPods for 500,00 clout. By playing the game everyday I was able to save up enough clout to buy the AirPods. Before I knew it there was a package at my door two days before it said it would arrive.

Since earning my AirPods I have also gotten some smaller prizes such as a beauty blind box which included a facemark and 24k gold eye mask. A bonsai tree starter kit. There are now over 300 prizes to choose from, so you could get a ton of prizes or save for one of the coveted grail prizes.

Do you wanna join in on the fun? https://clips.downtoshop.com/1721 join now and start earning all of that sweet sweet clout!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
