I have delved into skincare, but have recently found a passion and love for skincare. After weeks of research, I compiled a list of affordable skincare products ranging from cleansers to chemical exfoliators that I can guarantee work effectively to give you the best results possible.

1. Simple Micellar Gel Wash

When I tell you that this product does miracles! This affordable cleanser works on every all skin types and removes dirt without stripping the oils from your face.

Use this fragrance-free, Hyram-approved, product on a regular basis regularly as a product to clean your face of any impurities.

2. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleanser

If you have dry skin, this is a perfect cleanser for you! I use this cleanser all the time and it is a wonderful fragrance-free product that hydrates your skin and gives you that perfect fresh look. Use this regularly with other products for permanent results.

3. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser

La Roche-Posay is a brand that I would say can never let you down, their formulas and ingredient are high quality and work effectively to remove dirt and unclog your pores.

Glycerin, Ceramides, Niacinamide are some of the hydrating ingredients found in this product.

$20

4. Earth to Skin Super Greens Cleanser

If the following cleansers are out of stock because of the skincare obsession during quarantine, Earth to Skin Super Greens Cleanser is an underrated cleanser that works beautifully on dry skin.

Using natural extracts like cucumber, kale, and broccoli extracts, this product offers soothing effects like no other product.

5. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

If you have not heard about this product where have you been! This ordinary product has been floating through social media and is so difficult to get your hands on.

Luckily, I have tried this product before and I can assure the hype is real. The ingredients in this product remove the look of large pores and clears pores using chemical exfoliation.

If you have mild to severe acne, this is a product you should definitely have.

6. CeraVe Renewing Salicylic Acid Cleanser

CeraVe has been gaining a lo of popularity, but some of their products are better than others. This product in specific has an ingredient called salicylic acid which helps with longterm minimal breakout.

Salicylic acid is also great to help with uneven skin tone and redness.

The sound acid might scare you, but trust me chemical exfoliators like salicylic acid are way better for your skin than physical exfoliators like scrubs.

$10

7. The Inkey List Q10 Serum

If you have sensitive skin, this product will help you adapt to other ingredients and allow you to use stronger serums and products.

This serum is formulated with an ingredient called Ubiquinone which is an active antioxidant that hydrates your skin and prevents fine lines and wrinkles.

Other hydrating ingredients such as soybean extract and peptide complex. It is sold in small amounts, but the price is amazing and is highly effective

8. Elf Happy Hydration Cream

The second ingredient in this cream is Cannabis sativa seed oil is the 2nd ingredient which is amazing for hydration just like the product states.

The sixth product is niacinamide which reduces sensitivity and irritation and helps with uneven skin tone.

This product has effective ingredients and does not add too many extra scents or oils making it a fragrance-free and all-around great cream.

$12

9. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA $8

Alpha arbutin a water-soluble version of arbutin and is one of the most advanced natural ingredients in skincare which helps even out dark skin.

Since I have a melanin-rich skin tone, this product works wonders for me. For such an affordable price, you cannot go wrong with this product.

The Ordinary is an amazing brand with effective supplies and I recommend it to any and all people. This specific product also contains hyaluronic acid which brings moisture and glow to your face.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
