All makeup lovers know how expensive it is to buy high end products makeup artists swear by. As a college student I do not have that extra money to spend on those, and so I turn to drug store brands. Many of the products I use can be found at CVS, Target, Walmart, and even Ulta. I am constantly searching for products that are comparable to high end brands. I have found so many amazing products in my search, and below are 10 products I believe are comparable to any high end brand.

1. Nyx Angel Veil

This primer works as a poor filler, shine reducer, and allows for even makeup application.

2. London Stay Matte Foundation

This foundation is light weight, full coverage, and isn't cakey. It doesn't dry put skin, and it gives you a nice airbrushed look.

3. Elf Concealer and Highlighter

This is a non-cakey concealer with and under eye highlighter perfect for hiding dark circles, or using a basic highlight.

4. Nyx Highlight and Contour Pro Palette

This palette comes with 4 easily blendable contour shades, 4 highlighters, and refillable pans. This is the perfect palette because when you finish a shade you can pop out the empty pan and replace it with whatever shade you want to create the perfect custom palette.

5. Nyx Tame and Frame Tinted Brow Pomeade

The drug store dupe of DIp Brow that is easily applicable.

6. Nyx Duo Chromatic Highlighter

These highlighters are highly pigmented, and add the perfect glow.

7. Wet and Wild H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner

You can shower, go swimming, and cry you eyes out without your eyeliner creasing or running. At the end of the day this eyeliner will look the same as when you applied it.

8. L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara

This mascara gives you length and definition, as well as giving you the look of fuller eyelashes.

9. Nyx HD Studio Finishing Powder

This setting powder will keep your foundation in tact without caking.

10. Nyx Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray

Your makeup will stay intact all day, and does not leave a heavy feel.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
