Most, if not all of my makeup is from the drug store, and if I'm honest, the only high-end makeup I own was probably a gift. My makeup usage is typically light, which doesn't necessarily require me to invest in high-end products. Don't get me wrong; there is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing something at Sephora instead of Target. However, that's not to say you won't find something just as great at your local drug store. Here are eleven cosmetics products I use, that I promise you, you'll love too.

1. Primer

For the past several months I've been using, Maybelline's Master Prime: Blur and Smooth and can I just say, If you need something to blur and even skin-tone, this is the one.

2. Foundation

I won't even lie, finding the right foundation at a drug store, is always hard. I've gone through several different brands and can finally say I found the one. Maybelline's Dream Satin Liquid Foundation is incredibly light and great for a full-coverage.

3. Concealer

Concealer saves me every time by hiding my restless baggy eyes. My current favorite pick up is L'Oreal's True Match, Super-Blendable Concealer.

4. Brow Pencil

The BEST eyebrow pencil I've ever used has to be Elf's Ultra Precise Brow Pencil.

5. Blush

My daily makeup routine always consist of blush, I've always felt like it gives your cheeks a natural pop. For as longest I can remember I've stayed loyal to Covergirl's Cheekers Blush.

6. Bronzer

Bronzer is another item in my daily makeup routine. I love applying Covergirl's Cheekers Bronzer for a sun-kissed look.

7. Highlighter

Highlighter has to be one of my favorite cosmetic products in general. However, I only apply highlighter for a night out/special occasions, but even if there are many options, I've currently keep choosing Milani's Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette.

8. Mascara

Mascara = Maybelline. A minor bias opinion, but I truly think Maybelline has the best mascaras.

9. Lipstick

I own about a bag full of lipsticks, all from different brands, however, my current favorite lipstick is Rimmel's Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour, in the shade, Fire Starter (the best red lipstick I've ever owned).

10. Setting Spray

Nyx Setting Spray is the best way to achieve a matte look.

11. Face Mask

The best way to end your day is to refresh your face with a new face mask, I've currently been using L'Oreal's Detox & Brighten Clay Mask, and highly recommend it!

I am definitely not a makeup expert, but I have personally used all these products and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for something new, or something within a budget.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
