In a recent article on Financial Times Rolls-Royce unveils its first driverless car. According to carmakers, it's a ‘vision vehicle’ and it offers a glimpse into the future of luxury transportation.

The idea of a driverless car has been on the back burner for quite some time now for many companies. You hear car companies talking about creating models but no company has produced plans to this caliber.

The thought of a driverless car is shocking to some people and revolutionary to others. This idea potentially can open the door to thousands of people. Not only does a driverless car benefit people who are afraid to drive, but also it opens up a window of independence for thousands with disabilities. With having something like this tangible to these people, it creates a whole new world for them.

With Rolls Royce releasing this luxury vehicle there are no boundaries to the amenities the car offers. This top of the line automobile has no limit according to the article on Financial Times.

“No steering wheel, a door on one side only and a virtual assistant that can book hotels or advise you on your wardrobe selection, the car marks a different direction for a super- luxury marque.”

Rolls Royce is calling this vehicle 103EX it had its first showing in London at a center celebration for BMW the German carmaker that also owns Rolls-Royce. With this just being the first step in the process the company has yet to work out all the kinks from how the car will run, to how large the engine needs to be, but what they do know is this vehicle is revolutionary.

Thinking about this concept is insane. To think that my generation is the generation that is growing up in this era of technology is astounding. From seeing the growth in so many technology companies, there seems to be no limit to what any company can produce. Each product is more advanced than the next and all companies are continuously creating new ways to enhance everyone’s lives.

These advancements are what shape our world, and through these, we are growing at a more rapid pace. These improvements are not only helping us utilizes technology better but helping create headway for more products to hit the market.

Technology like this shows people that anything is possible. This is just the beginning of amazing technology that is being brought to the forefront.
