As college students everywhere head home for the holidays, parents everywhere are starting to realize their little babies are (kinda, sorta, almost) turning into adults. The first time your parents let you drink with them, can be totally awkward or super fun, but either way, it kinda feels like a big deal. Here are some weird thoughts that will definitely cross your mind when you drink with your parents during the holidays for the first time as a legal 21 year old:

1. Wait, if my parents think it's fine for me to drink now, I can tell them what I actually do for fun at school, right? They won't care that I am hungover in class, right?

2. No, some of those stories should definitely never leave a college campus.

3. I should probably be watching how much they're drinking so I don't get ahead of them.

4. How many drinks is an appropriate amount to show them I haven't built a tolerance...

5. Because it is probably NOT acceptable to get drunk on this kind of occasion.

6. Is this what good wine is supposed to taste like...?

7. If I ask my mom if she has Moscato I wonder if she'll get suspicious...

8. Am I allowed to pour more for myself or is that too aggressive?
