5. Though there are the lucky among us who get to at least become something like this.

Despite knowing the fact that this was never said about any real anthropologist or archaeologist… ever.

6. Nonetheless we are all still longing for this dream job.

7. On the subject of Jobs…

Seriously though.

8. But hey, we are optimistic, maybe the job market will change.

9. And don’t even get us started on the sociologists…

10. But despite all those issues at least we have our friends and comrades to commiserate with. You know, those fellow majors in your year that you went through University 101 and all the freshmen classes with… Oh wait

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots.
