Looking good and feeling good shouldn't cost more than your monthly meal plan.

Whenever a new season rolls around, it feels like the perfect time to spruce our wardrobes up with some fun new pieces. When in college, however, this may seem like an impossible feat. When you're a student, cash is not the easiest thing to come by. Looking good and feeling good shouldn't cost more than your monthly meal plan. Here are some of my spring obsessions that won't break the bank.

1. Knee High Gladiators

Free The People: $248.00

Charlotte Russe: $38.99

These shoes are my go to when dressing up an outfit. They look great paired with a simple black sundress, or with high waisted shorts and a funky graphic tee shirt. This Charlotte Russe pair is one of my favorites I've seen this season and super affordable. Feel like a Greek goddess this spring without paying a heavenly price. Get them here.

2. Festival Wear

Zara: $49.90

H&M: $9.99

My biggest obsession this spring is Festival Wear. It is a fun way to let your hippie side shine through while getting a chance to experiment with tons of different patterns and textures. As a girl living on the East Coast, never having the chance to go to Coachella once a year really puts a damper on my festival vibes. This adorable shirt, however, allows you to feel like a true Californian Festival goer and for only $9.99! (much cheaper than a plane ticket). You can get this whole outfit from H&M for under 40 dollars. Get the top here.

3. Metallics

Nordstrom: $385.00

Forever 21: $22.90

I've never been one to shy away from a little sparkle, especially when it comes in gold. Metallics are huge this spring, and I love this dress because it combines the metallic trend with lingerie as everyday wear into one expensive look. This dress is perfect for going out with the girls or an upscale summer wedding. You can feel like a piece of gold with only dropping a few dimes. Pick up this gorgeous steal here.

4. Pastel Heels

Sarah Jessica Parker: $350.00

Modcloth: $49.99

Pastel Heels are a great way to add a pop of spring color into your wardrobe. Whether you chose pink, lavender, or baby blue, pastels are a great way to soften up your look. These Modcloth heels are elegant and practical, not to mention mule style is very on trend right now. Pair these heels with a white dress and you'll look like a pastel vision. Grab them here.

5. Statement Clutch

ASOS: $128.00

Francesca's: $22.00

Having a statement clutch in your wardrobe is an absolute essential. It is perfect for going out, grabbing coffee with friends, or just when you are on the go and do not want to feel weighed down. This clutch from Francesca's is both fun and practical. It is an excellent way to add some excitement to any outfit with its adorable pom poms, and its versatile style will carry over from spring to summer. For 22 dollars this purse is a steal. Find it here.

Spring time is the perfect excuse to clean out your closet and part with those jeans from the 6th grade. Whether you are dressing festival chic or rocking a metallic shift dress, you can still dress the part of a runway model without having to drop your entire paycheck on a shopping trip.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

College is a great place to meet people, especially through Greek life. If you look closely at sororities, you'll quickly see there are many different types of girls you will meet.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
