Insomniac’s brand-new, all-trance event brings that vision to life and to the EastCoast. I’m talking about your only trance destination Dreamstate NY. This genre of music has the power to connect people together, the power to soothe the soul, and the power to heal a broken heart. This past weekend we had the chance to experience that power together. Dreamstate NY brought people together from all over the US, trance lovers from Boston all the way from Los Angeles. It united old friends together that shared the same passion. It even made upcoming local producers/DJs in the trance community live the dream by performing at Dreamstate NY.

The two-day event was held at The Brooklyn Hangar, and packed with some of the best in Trance. The epic lineup consisted of Standerwick, John Askew, Astrix, Markus Schulz, VINI VICI, and Infected Mushroom. The room was filled with great vibes, and high energy, each DJ performed incredible sets. Personal favorites were Standerwick and John Askew. Both were uniquely mesmerizing in their own ways. Standerwick's set was perfect like Michael Phelps in his last Olympics. Since Dreamstate NY was a success, Insomniac’s Trance event is expanding overseas to Mexico City, Mexico and Melbourne, Australia; making an even bigger trance family.
