Dreamland
My body is tired,
Sleepless it lays.
Eyes feel heavy,
They have for days.
Limbs exhausted,
Frozen in place.
Aching for slumber,
But the mind will race.
Wheels turn faster,
Speed down the hill.
Just to find myself,
Lost without will,
Will to return,
To retrace my steps.
But for the stillness I thirst,
I'll try my best.
So now I must find
My way back home.
Back to the place
Of the darkest unknown.
