Dreams will be dreams,
That's what the cinics say,
You don't know what you want,
It changes on a day to day,
Make a long time career out of something you hate,
Cause at least you'll end up with lower-middle class wage.
But I've never been one to fall in line,
Cause I won't settle for a life that's just fine.
Got a fire in my soul that they will not put out,
If I gotta work for it till I die, hey, at least I'll be proud.
They say I can't handle the world and at times that's true,
But I won't let them destroy me like they love to do,
Because one day my name will be on that marquee,
Screamin' "I made it!" To anyone who doubted me,
And I'll thank the fans, cause they had faith
As I smile at the ones who tried to write off my name.
Cause I wasn't put here to settle for less,
I'll make my mark; North, South, East, and West.
I'm in it to thrive,
Don't just wanna survive.
I'll keep dreaming the dream that makes me feel alive.
