As we wrap up spring break, all us students, teachers, and busy vacationers want to do is lay in bed and binge watch our favorite shows. But... what do we watch when our we are done with the series Stranger Things, Grey’s Anatomy, and Big Mouth. While we’re in our dark rooms, “vamping” afraid of the sun peaking through our blinds, bored, and feel like procrastinating and eating our lives away; here are 6 Netflix series and movies to indulge:
1. "Everything Sucks"
This series is about two teenagers growing up in the 90's, from a very small town... where people are very small minded. Watch and explore with these preteens and teenagers who battle identity issues, family issues, and watch their friendships build on a solid foundation.
2. "Roxanne Roxanne"
What a great movie if you love Old Skool hip-hop rap. Especially with all of the women dominating the industry today with beauty, class, and bad-ass rhymes.
3. "Seven Seconds"
Want to pull at your heartstrings? Watch "Seven Seconds" and let it resonate you with the fact that things like this happen all too often. Also, think about the realistic plot twists... being that they are not always happy or justified.
4. "Love Beats Rhymes"
Is poetry and rap the same thing? What is the difference? Is it possible to master both an conquer love at the same time?
5. "Will to Marry"
It is so important to abide by your loved one's last will and testament, but if they asked you to fall in genuine love in 3 to 6 months, could you do it?
6. "The Preacher’s Son"
No sin is greater than the other, yet, some still feel the need to be judgmental. Watch what happens to those who tried to cast the first stone.
