On this season of "The Bachelor," we have pilot Peter Weber as our main man. When it was announced that he was the Bachelor, I was mostly excited and only a bit bummed it wasn't Mike. His season is almost done, and honestly, it hasn't been what I expected.
While it's been kind of hard to watch Peter, I think it's been even harder to watch the women. There's too much tension and fighting, which is odd to say for a reality show. There have been so many tears and fights that it's almost too overwhelming.
I think the biggest problem with this season is that a lot of the women are younger and very, very dramatic. Victoria F., Kelsey, and Mykenna have had the most breakdowns and drama-filled moments. Tammy and Alayah have started too many fights between the women.
Peter is doing a bad job at trying to mediate all these fights, and I mean I don't really blame him. He's here to hand out the roses, not babysit. He probably expected to break-up some fights, but not constantly.
Peter honestly just seems kind of overwhelmed with the process. He wasn't even a week into it, and he almost ran off with Hannah Brown. Bachelor Nation started off very against that idea, but now people are wishing he did that because she is better than most of the women combined. I mean, the women this season are so disliked that everyone is grasping for straws and saying that Peter ends up with a producer.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Peter talked about the contestants and how much drama played a role in his season. He says that it was shocking to watch back some of the footage, and he sounds pretty disappointed with how the women handled themselves when he wasn't there.
In the end, I hope that Peter finds his happily ever after, hopefully with Madison. If it's not Madison, then I hope she ends up on "The Bachelorette" because she's awesome.
Also, I hope to see the girls on "Bachelor in Paradise" because that would be very entertaining, maybe a little chaotic, season.
