Drama Club As Told By The Office

Drama club is a place where many people find acceptance, best friends, and feel free to express themselves and be who they are. In this unique ecosystem of people from all over the social map, there are some very interesting moments that only drama nerds can relate to:

1. When the director says "are there any questions" at the info meeting

2. When you hear people saying "they are definitely going to get the main role"

3. When the whole crew gets together again

4. When all the new people are freaking out before auditions

5. After your audition

6. When the director finally fixes that one annoying scene

7. Pretending you know your lines

8. When you nail a scene

9. Trying to get off book

10. When the cast becomes your second family

11. When you realize the show is in a 10 days

12. When the freshmen get criticism and you have to teach them to not take it personally

13. All of tech week

14. When it's a few days before the show and people still don't know their lines

15. Opening night

16. When random family members bring you flowers after the show

17. When show tunes comes on at the cast party

18. After it's all over

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week.
