Drake’s New Album 'Scorpion' Needs to be Stung by a Scorpion Because we need the old Drizzy Back

Just like I miss the old Kanye, I miss the old Drizzy that actually created authentic and lyrical songs.

Drake needs to stop hating from outside of the club he cannot even get in.

Drake peaked in 2011. No doubt about it, especially after hearing "Scorpion." He used to glorify women in 2011 and now he is just mansplaining everything. Drake, please sit down.

There is a tweet that is going viral about our generation yet he only mentions GIRLS. In the song "Emotionless," Drake claims:

"I know a girl happily married 'til she puts down her phone/ I know a girl that saves pictures from places she's flown/ to post later and make it look like she still on the go/ look at the way we live"

Drake used to worship the ground women walked on. He respected women's hustle as they took on school and work. Now he criticizes how a girl lives. Did you not get the memo, Drake? This year is about supporting, empowering, and giving a voice to women, not criticizing them.

Girl you're the greatest/And if he say you ain't, girl he's out his mind/You're the finest/And if he say you ain't, that boy done lost his mind

This lyric was taken from the song "Shut It Down" from his 2010 album, "Thank Me Later." I guess I do need to thank him now because eight years later, he has the audacity to go from loving women to trashing them.

Drake is just so obsessed with women in a toxic manner. First, it was Nicki, now it is Rihanna who stated that they are not friends at the moment. Vogue literally writes that she winced when they mentioned his name. Drake needs to move on and act his age.

He claims he wants to protect his son from the world by not even mentioning his son until Pusha T exposes him. I hope he realizes his son will grow and learn to read and listen to his lyrics. Drake, act and rap your age. It is 2018, get it together.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
