Bad Bunny? An icon. Drake? Also an icon. What happens when you mix the two on to one track? Mixed reviews are what you get, of course.

20 years ago, nobody would have ever thought that these types of collaborations would become trends. It was Spanish speakers stuck to lyrics in Spanish, and English speakers stuck to lyrics in English. Today, you see artists stepping out of their comfort zones and jumping on tracks that are not their typical sound. Reggaeton is becoming more popular, American musicians are teaming up with Latin artists, Latin artists are working with artists of other genres and personally, I'm here for it. All of it.

JBalvin once said, "By erasing barriers of races, colors, continents, genres or languages, we can achieve the whole world moving their head to the same beat". Who says you have to stick to what you're comfortable with? Music is such a powerful form of art, that relationships and connections with other people can be formed. It's beautiful.

Well, aside from my perspective, here are what 13 people had to say about Bad Bunny and Drake's new song MIA.

1. "Drake is a legend. He can jump on any track and it will be on top of the charts. Think of an album of his that hasn't been a complete success. Him working with Bad Bunny just makes him 10 times cooler." -20 years old

2. "HA, I thought it was going to be a song about Miami because, MIA, but yeah, no, it wasn't." -20 years old

3. "Even though Drake is mumbling, I can still understand his Spanish instead of Bad Bunny. I don't know what Bad Bunny says have the time. Love him though." -22 years old

4. "Okay, but did you know Drake spoke Spanish? Like does he really? Also, what's up with his kid?" -18 years old

5. "Play that sh*t right now and I promise you I'll get ready to go out." -21 years old

6. "Ugh, another Despacito on the rise." -19 years old

7. "It is my mission to learn all of the lyrics by the end of this month. I LOVE it." -18 years old

8. "I wonder if Drake is going to be able to sing it live though, idk." -19 years old

9. "Ooohhh yesss, every time it comes on I can't help myself but to dance." -20 years old

10. "Right now, I love the song. By next week, I'll hate it because it will definitely be overplayed." -18 years old

11. "Can I marry both of them? Lol" -21 years old

12. "Bad Bunny NEVER disappoints. Bad Bunny AND Drake? Genius." -20 years old

13. "Love to see it" -20 years old

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
