I'm sure you've all had a chance to listen to If You're Reading This It's Too Late, and I'm sure you've all been blown away. There's a lot to be said of the new music but the only thing of importance I think is that Drake is killin it, straight up.
While the 17 tracks are no where near similar to his old stuff we've grown to love, they are having an enormous impact on the music industry. The majority of Twitter had a field day with Drake's newfound sound:
Rolling Stone even said, "For the first time in his career, Drake doesn't sound like he wants to be remembered as one of the greats. This time, he just is." Personally, I think the mixtape/album is amazing. Drake is low key (or not so low key, however big a fan you are of our Canadian jewel) the most influential artist in the hip/hop scene and continues to slay on a professional level. He's gained respect from other artists in Hollywood and responds to his haters in the most positive way possible.
