5 Reasons you should be waking up earlier every day!

You will feel better about yourself

Some of the best days are when you were really productive and got a lot done. This will most likely happen every time you wake up early. Instead of spending your day cramming for exams or doing chores, you can get this all done early in the morning when no one else is awake and then spend your day hanging out with friends.

Spend the extra time on a new hobby

If you are already so busy during the day, the early morning is the best time to start that hobby you've been dying to do. This can then become something you look forward to doing and it will make waking up in the morning so much easier.

Get ahead of your day / week

With all this extra time, you can start working on any assignments due in the upcoming week. This will make your next week be so much less stressful.

Finally get in the workout you've been saying you'll do

If working out is not a normal activity for you, many times it gets pushed off to the side. But if you wake up early there is no excuse why you can't go outside and at least walk for thirty minutes. Or you can go hit the gym when it's not crowded. That is the perfect time to finally figure out what all the machines do without feeling embarrassed.

You'll finally have enough time for breakfast

This is arguably the most important meal of the day. Many of us wake up too late and are rushed getting wherever we need to be, so we end up grabbing a bar, which has no nutritional value, instead of something that will keep us going for the rest of the day.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
