A Dozen Reasons Why Dogs Are The Best

There is always one thing we as people can count on, and that is our dogs. It is no lie that they are man's best friend, and they would do absolutely anything they could for their owners, but they are also so much more than that. We should be honored that dogs also see us as their best friends. They shower everyone with unconditional love, and are also the only creatures on this planet that love us more than they love themselves. We have a lot to thank our furry friends for.

1. You are always greeted at the door with loads of kisses

2. How silly and dopey dogs are: they can run around and crash into things, get sidetracked for a second and go on their way like nothing happened

3. When dogs become friends so easily with other dogs, and then you plan dog play dates

4. Your dog is always up for cuddling. Always.

5. Whenever you try to eat, they just want to steal your food so they act really cute and kiss up to you

6. Whenever you're at school and FaceTime home, you can always count on your mom to attempt to show you your dog, but he's trying to attack the camera

7. Nap time is always wanted, and they'll snuggle up right next to you in that little ball of theirs

8. They accept you for all of your imperfections and listen to you rant and complain

9. Whenever you know you're coming home, you get a little more excited because when you walk in the door they literally attack you with love

10. We love dogs because of how photogenic they are, they look like they're always smiling

11. Dogs are always down to go on walks. For them it means play time, for us it means exercise—it's a win-win situation

12. No one loves a car ride as much as dogs. They look so happy with their heads out the window and tails wagging

Dogs love us unconditionally, and they are truly the best kind of creatures to have around.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
