Boys come and go but doughnuts are forever.

1. Doughnuts are there for you at any time of the day

Not just at 2 a.m. when it's convenient for them.

2. Doughnuts don't stick around long enough for you to get bored with them

Because you already ate them before you even pulled out of the Dunkin Donuts parking lot.

3. Doughnuts look so good when they're dressed up.

Yeah a boy looks good in a suit, but have you ever seen a sprinkled doughnut?

4. You can see right through a doughnut

They aren't a jerk disguised as a frat star who loves his mom.

5. Doughnuts are always fresh

Fresh as in "freshly baked", not fresh as in "rude" (not being able to text you back but miraculously still being able to post Snapchats of them-self at the bar).

6. Doughnuts always give you options (frosted, glazed, powdered, sprinkled, etc.)

Sure there are millions of boys in the world, but they all have one thing in common - they're all the same.

7. Doughnuts will always hold a special place in our hearts

Boys are a dime a dozen. Doughnuts are $8.99.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
