When traveling to different places there are always lots that you can do and see. You can overwhelm yourself looking on websites like Trip Advisor, on where the best places to eat are and what are the coolest sites to visit. I might be biased but one of the best places to visit is Chicago.

I am here to tell you from experience, what I think are the best places to visit in Chicago and I know you won’t regret going to any one of these places. With that being said here are the top ten must do's when coming to the windy city!

10. The infamous bean

If you are coming to Chicago you have to go look at the giant mirrored kidney bean that people will stare at for hours. It might not be that exciting, but there is just something about The Bean that attracts people from all over the world.

9. Oven Grinders

In the heart of the city is Oven Grinders Pizza. These obscured looking pizzas might not look very appetizing but they sure are! Enjoy a family style meal with your favorite people, but don't forget to take some cash with you because they don't accept card!

8. The Willis Tower Sky Deck

Take a ride up to the top of the world to see the city from above. At the Willis Tower you can step out of your comfort zone and straight into a glass box that overlooks the city. On a beautiful day you can see for miles and miles and really appreciate how beautiful the city is!

7. The Museum of Science and Industry

This museum is filled with things that I couldn't even imagine. From weather stations to static electricity, you will definitely learn something new before you walk out of there. There are so many different things to explore in the museum and it is perfect for people of all ages!

6. Navy Pier

If you pass up Navy Pier you really did not get the full Windy City experience. You have to check out the giant Ferris wheel along with the restaurants that are surrounded by Lake Michigan. Take a walk up and down the pier just too cool off by the lakefront and maybe hop on a boat while you are there!

5. The Shedd Aquarium

Ocean lover or not, the Shedd Aquarium is a must when in the city. Seeing all of the fish and sea critters swimming around is memorizing. Don't forget about the dolphin show where you can watch these proposes jump through hoops and flip in the air. The Shedd is definitely one of my favorite places to visit!

4. The Hampton Social

If you haven't seen the infamous 'Rosé All Day' sign then you better hop on the wagon and head on over to The Hampton Social. This Hamptons inspired restaurant has amazing seafood-based entrees. I also highly recommend their Frosé drink! Head on over for your perfect Instagram photo opp.

3. The River Walk

One of Chicago's newer attractions, the River Walk, is lined with restaurants and bars galore! It is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon eating and drinking with friends or even your business pals! Enjoy the ambiance of boats passing by and the festive atmosphere.

2. The Magnificent Mile

You can't pass up the opportunity to shop a whole mile of stores if you are visiting the Windy City! The Mag Mile is filled with everything from candy stores to clothing stores and everything in between. It is a great one-stop shop for the holiday season or even if you are just looking to blow a little cash.

1. Wrigley Field

Whether you are a baseball fan or not, you have to go watch a game at the historic Wrigley Field! Where the ivy grows tall on the outfield wall and Marquis is always lit. If you pass up your chance to sing 'Go Cubs Go' you are really missing out on your full Chicago experience. Go catch a game and see Kris Bryant hit a home run and watch fans fly their W flags!

If you are in Chicago and visit these places I know that you will have a five star trip!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
