For some of us it's the first major time going home from college all year. But there need to be a few ground rules for once you get home.

DO: Hang out with your old friends.

Catch up with everybody!

DON’T: Hook up with an old ex.

Trust me, you will regret this at some point.

DO: Visit as much family as possible.

Blood is thicker than water.

DON’T: Blow off your family for your friends.

Family isn’t replaceable.

DO: Catch up on sleep!

You’ll need it for finals week!!

DON’T: Sleep all day!

Your mom needs help around the house, don’t just lay around all day!

DO: Sleep in your own bed!

It is your room after all!

DON’T: Think everything is how you left it.

Things change, people change, you have to accept it and go with the flow.

Lastly,

DO: Eat lots of food!

It is Thanksgiving after all. Eat as much as you want, and bring leftovers back with you!!
