Fairfield's 13th Annual Presidential Ball will occur at The Bellarmine Lawn on Sept. 30! It is an exciting day to be a Stag and something that we all look forward to every year! Prez Ball is one of the few nights of the year when everyone on campus is in attendance and it is a great excuse to get dressed up. It is an event on campus that has a reputation for being a lot of fun. Here are a few key dos and don'ts for any first timers planning on going to Prez Ball:
DO: Go with friends
Prez Ball is a great night to spend with your friends, especially for the freshmen who are still trying to get to know people. The more, the merrier!
DON'T: Forget your dancing shoes
Get ready to dance the night away with all of your favorite Stags! Make sure that you wear comfortable shoes too, especially since it is outside and a long walk up to the Bellarmine Lawn.
DO: Take a picture with Father von Arx
Since it is the Presidential Ball, all of the students have the opportunity to take a picture with Fairfield's president, Father von Arx. Don't miss your chance to say hello to our current president.
DON'T: Be late
No one is admitted after 9:30 p.m., so make sure that you and your squad are there on time.
DO: Get dressed up
It is one of the few times every year all of the students of Fairfield can get really dressed up in formal attire; take advantage of it and go all out.
DON'T: Lose your friends
Things can get a little crazy once you're inside the tent at Prez Ball. Make sure that you exercise the use of the buddy system and always stay together.
DO: Take advantage of the free food
Many people forget that there is food at Prez Ball. Make sure that you stop by to check it out.
DON'T: Forget your phone
This one is a must: for pictures and in case you lose a friend, your phone is imperative.
DO: Have a great time
Prez Ball is one of the great parts about being a Stag; make sure that you enjoy it!
