Welcome to Dorm Room Desserts, the ~easy and cheap~ recipe guide for all of us broke, lazy college students out there! (Sometimes you just want something sweet and gooey, am I right?) This week, it's cute, easy, AND it's made in mason jars (or, really, whatever you have that's shaped that way). How cute is that?
NO BAKE. OREO. CHEESECAKE. PARFAITS. Could it possibly get better? I don't think so.
The ingredients:
- 1/2 package oreos
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
- 1/8 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 tub cool whipped topping
Here's how simple it is:
Coarsely crush about 1/4 of the cookies. Set aside. *Finely* crush remaining cookies and mix with the melted butter. Divide evenly and press into the bottom of the jars. Put the cream cheese, honey, and cool whip in a bowl, and whisk with a fork until combined and light. Layer some cream mix, then some of the remaining oreos, and so on until you've created the perfect parfait! Refrigerate until firm, then enjoy!!!
Thank the food gods for this deliciousness, and enjoy!
