Well, TikTok has officially done it again. From hair and style trends to hilarious memes, TikTok always surprises me with the wide range of content that it holds.

This time, the social media app surprised me with homemade munchkins.

When I saw @jill_sharkey's TikTok on my For You page, depicting homemade munchkins that looked good enough to rival Dunkin Donuts, I just knew it was a recipe that I HAD to try.

Not only were they Gluten, Dairy, Sugar, and Soy-free, but get this: they take less than 20 minutes to make.

A dual-licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist, Jill Sharkey boasts these as a skin-healthy treat, emphasizing in all of her content the correlation between eating healthy and beautiful looking skin.

At this point, I was thoroughly convinced and decided to give her recipe a shot.

Wow, am I glad I did.

For the munchkins:

- 2 cups of Birch Benders Paleo mix

- ½ cup of water

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the icing:

- Powdered sugar

- Brown sugar

- Unsweetened coconut milk

After mixing all of the ingredients for the munchkins together, you can make the balls as big or as small as you want before placing them onto a cookie sheet. Then, you'll bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, and there you have it! After letting them cool, you can sprinkle some powdered sugar, add some homemade icing, or leave them as-is to enjoy.

I had so much fun making these and loved eating them even more. What's even better is that I know that the Gluten, Dairy, Sugar, and Soy-free ingredients won't upset my stomach and are actively helping me work towards better skin. Enjoy!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
