Scary Reasons Why Trump Shouldn't Become President

Scary Reasons Why Trump Shouldn't Become President

The world should get ready for a slow, toxic meltdown if Donald Trump becomes president. Donald trump is a walking disaster at it is so if he becomes president the world should be prepared for a great downfall. I know many say If only could stay president forever. He has helped the world become a better place whether it's with the income or helping out college students. Donald trump is willing to take all of that away.

Some things we should look forward to are horrible. Like getting an abortion will be impossible. Donald trump once said, "millions and millions of women-- cervical cancer, breast cancer, are helped by Planned Parenthood, so you can say whatever you want, but they have millions of women going through Planned parenthood that are helped greatly. And I wouldn't fund it". I think that is complete bull! We have many troubled teens who just want to be loved. They go out and have sex because maybe its something that makes them feel better about themselves, not expecting to get pregnant. So when they do get pregnant, the first thought that comes to their mind is to get an abortion. If Trump takes that away then the teen is either forced to keep the baby and raise that child in an unsafe environment or give it up for adoption and by that time the teen has created a bond with her child and dosen't want to give it up.

Another scary thing we should look forward to if Trump becomes president is cutting the Department of Education leading to no more college Pell Grants, no one to enforce civil rights, no one to check rampant inequality which is complete bull. Many college students survive college because of Pell Grants so with cutting that Trump might as well cut college. Even the richest depend on Pell Grants because college is expensive!

With all the things that is going on in the world like police brutality and etc. there is no room for Trump's mess. It'll be like the World will hate us! He's trying to keep minimum wage at 7.25 which isnt enough to support a family! Poor people, immigrants, LGBTQ people, people of color, women, Muslims and more are set out for a bad experience in the world if Donald Trump becomes president! America should be a place of peace and not a place of persecution.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
