Do you have that one person you know you shouldn't text because of how toxic they are? Whether it's an ex, an old friend or just a random hookup, they always find a way to inch back into your life.

Depending on the situation and how things went down between you two, it can be super tricky when it comes to having a normal conversation with them. It's obvious that you want absolutely nothing to do with them, but there may be a little part of you that just wants them around for attention and that's NOT healthy at all.

If you rarely talk to this guy and you see a random text pop up from them its clear that they are bored, lonely or just want your attention because no one else is giving him any. Whatever you do, don't give in. Although it can be hard because of how you feel about them and the fear of losing them forever, maybe it's a good thing to give them a taste of their own medicine. In no way is this petty, it's just a way to help them learn their lesson (hopefully).

Boys like to think that girls can be "crazy" ones because of the way we act in relationships. Girls get this negative stereotype and it's complete bullshit because if boys could just be nice (not all boys) and stop acting like fuckboys, then maybe we would trust guys more and not have to stand up for what we deserve. Don't ever apologize for wanting to be treated like the queen that you are.

This is not a bash against guys because not all guys are like this. This is just a reminder that not all guys deserve our attention and sometimes it takes a person, article or self-realization to tell us we don't need to text him back.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
