If you're looking for a new restaurant close to the University of Richmond campus, don't look back. No, seriously. Go to Don't Look Back.

With a pub-like ambiance and a Mexican-style menu, you'll definitely get the best of both worlds at Don't Look Back. Their most popular menu items are their tacos which you can customize yourself by selecting your favorite meats, tortilla style, and toppings. They also have a full bar with extensive tequila and margarita options.

Located in close proximity to the Byrd Theatre and Bev's Homemade Ice Cream, you can definitely make a night out of your visit to Don't Look Back. Start your night out with either some chips and salsa or some of their loaded nachos and one of the special beers on tap. Be sure to go during their happy hour, which runs from 3-7pm.

Their excellent happy hour isn't the only special they offer throughout the week; stop by on a Wednesday night for special nacho pricing. If you're looking for a new brunch place to try this upcoming weekend, they offer tasty options such as breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros.

On my visit to Don't Look back this past week, my friend and I sat outside on the patio out back after waiting at the bar for the table. The patio is decorated with an eye-catching and colorful mural which made my experience esthetically appealing.

We started out our meal with chips, salsa, and guacamole, which I would highly suggest. They tasted extremely fresh and were the perfect start to our meal.

When choosing your tacos, you have your option of meat, tortilla, and style. Some of the meat options included chorizo, shrimp, carnitas, and pulled chicken. You then have the option of either corn or flour tortillas, and then can choose between gringo or traditional style. Gringo style includes cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and salsa where traditional includes cilantro, red onion and lime. For my meal I chose a pulled chicken and shrimp taco, both gringo style on corn tortillas. The meat was spiced very well and the toppings were both flavorful and fresh.

As far as atmosphere, Don't Look Back is a more relaxed and fun pub-like scene. I appreciated the untraditional Mexican restaurant atmosphere because it provided a unique experience. I would highly suggest this restaurant, especially to students at the University of Richmond. Keep in mind that they have extended hours at night until 2 a.m., so its the perfect option for late weekend nights. To find out more information about Don't Look back, visit their website

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

1. People assume you are mad all of the time.

2. Ten out of ten times you will give off an intimidating impression to others.

3. People do not acknowledge your feelings because you "do not have any."

4. Constantly being exhausted from trying to smile and not look like a witch.

5. And on the rare occasion your facial expressions show how happy you are, your friends think you are going crazy.

6. Each of your friends has said "I thought you were so mean when I first met you" at some point.

7. Then they follow that by saying "you are just hard to read."

8. So naturally if people do not know you they just assume you are a snob.

9. And when you are actually mad, your facial expressions are horrifying.

10. In the end you always look like you are judging people, when in reality people are ALWAYS judging you.
