If you're like me, fall is the least anticipated season of the year. I'd consider myself more of a summer gal, but that doesn't mean I should completely abstain from any fall activity. In fact, that's what should be done to make the season a little better! Here's a list of things you can do to make the fall a less of a drag.

1. Visit an orchard and/or pumpkin patch

Take some time out of your busy schedule and plan a visit with friends/family to an orchard or pumpkin patch! Not only do you get to spend some quality time with your peeps, you're also getting goodies to make a delicious dessert, perhaps?

2. Shopping time

You can never have too many cute fall dresses or comfy flannels!

3. Purchase fall scented candles

Candy apple, pumpkin soufflé, brown sugar, and pecan pie? I'm ready for my space to smell like a bakery.

4. Ch-ch-changes

Now is the time to try a new look so you can impress the folks this holiday season.

5. Host a potluck

Invite some friends over and have each of them bring some food and just enjoy a cozy atmosphere!

6. Time to decorate

Adding a few fall touches around your space can help you motivate you for the season!

7. Baked goods

You can never go wrong with some cookies or cake.

8. Go on a mini road trip

Ahh, the leaves are changing color and falling, so why not do a mini road trip and enjoy the sights of nature?

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
