Winter is upon us, Worcester! Here’s the Assumption College student’s guide to surviving the cold weather…
- Park your car in the garage. No one wants to scrape the ice off their car before 8:30s!
- Bring your best boots. We all know that the sidewalks aren’t going be shoveled before class starts so you’ll need your warmest winter boots (or ice skates)!
- Ramen. And more ramen. Honestly, is it really worth trekking from your dorm to go to Tay’s or Chuck’s? Stay nice and warm in your bed with Netflix and a hot cup of ramen!
- Buy a Love Your Melon beanie. Nothing is going to protect your head and keep you warm from head to toe like a cozy beanie!
- Your coat. Obviously.
- Stock up on cold meds. Chances are, you probably will get sick at some point this winter. Grab some extra Emergen-C, cough drops, and cold medicine for when the time comes!
- Think of spring break and summer vacation. Warm weather will be here soon, friends! Think of laying on the beach with a drink in your hand to keep your spirit up!
