It can be difficult and rigorous both mentally and physically to receive a good grade in that class, but at the end of the day you can still learn a lot from the class. Too many times we let a bad professor get in the way of our learning. We come to college to learn more about life skills and more specifically, a career field. That mission if often obscured when we focus more on professors and how easy or hard it is to pass. If you receive a bad professor, don't let them get in the way of your learning. It isn't easy to have such a professor, but there are things you can do to make the most out of your learning experience.
Unfortunately, when you have a bad professor you will need to try your hardest to adapt to their teaching style, but don't let it get you down too much. If you are having a hard time with their homework or exams, take practices ones online. The internet is chalk full of information and alternative ways to learn material. Another great way to learn and retain material is by the student to teaching method. Gather a group of peers (or friends) that each understand certain material from that class. Then, each take turns teaching what their strong suit is. Not only does this help you to understand topics you were struggling with, but by your teaching what you understand, it reinforces those topics and makes you a pro with them. There are numerous other ways you can learn in a class that does not involve the professor.
College is hard and has what seems like a never-ending agenda. There are students that truly come to classes just to pass so they can their degree and leave. That's why there is the saying "C's get degrees." What sets a student up for success, however, is comprehending and retaining concepts that as a college student we're exposed to. Every day we have endless opportunities to learn about the world in which we live. Learning is something we all too often take for granted. By realizing how valuable learning is, nothing can get in the way of it. Not even that one bad professor.
