We have made it to a little over half way through the semester already. It's crazy how fast time flies. I'm sure there are many of you who would agree with me that this is our harder semester yet. I thought last year was hard but it's nothing like this year. Some classes are the classes where you have to be happy that you tried your best even if you didn't get the grade you wanted. I personally let my grades affect me more than I should so this semester has really been the struggle for me. It's hard not to be upset or cry when I don't get in the 90's on the quiz or exam. I spend most of my weekends inside at my desk doing homework than out with my friends.
My anxiety level this semester has sky rocketed. Well like I said, I bet I'm not the only one and a lot of you feel the same way. So, I'm here to give us all hope. Like I said in the beginning of the article, this semester is already more than half way over. Before we know it, it will be Christmas. I'm begging you all to not let the stress influence you to give up on your classes yet. We have all worked so hard up to this point, it would be terrible to have it all go to waste. Hopefully you had a fun Halloween weekend and now this week you can get back to studying and focusing on what really matters. Try to be hopeful and positive.
We are all smart in our own ways and hard work always pays off. Lock yourself at your desk or go to the library. Read your class book or take more notes. Review the material in each class after each class. Relax before an exam and trust yourself. God is always with us and has a plan for us. If you studied your hardest, that's all that matters. Don't let a couple bad grades demotivate you and have you give up. Make those bad grades influence you to get up and try again. Make them influence you to study even harder and prove to yourself that you can still get more good grades. We are all in this together.
