Every summer in Indiana, people contemplate whether the Mega
Ticket is worth the money. I’m here to tell you that it is definitely worth it.
Here is how:
5/16: Lady Antebellum
5/30: Rascal Flatts
6/27: Darius Rucker
7/24-25: Luke Bryan
8/7: Tim McGraw
8/21: Jason Aldean
8/29: Brad Paisley
9/5: Dierks Bentley
Klipsch Music Center hosts 9 concerts starting in May that goes through to September. Country, country, and more country. It’s worth the money because:
1. You get to dress up and spend an evening with your friends, maybe even your friends that you don’t see until school starts.
2. It’s an excuse to act like an idiot and scream lyrics to your favorite songs.
3. You make lifelong friends there. Example: I actually met my little before I knew who she was. I met her in the Lawn at a concert and then saw her in recruitment...Mind. Blown.
4. The tailgate. No, it’s not like a football tailgate, but it’s still a lot of fun. You can sit on a tailgate, grill out and listen to the radio. Or you can run back and forth from car to car to see your friends. Trust me, they will be there.
5. Buying the ticket is equivalent to spending $26.00 per ticket. Which if that’s not a deal, then I don’t know what is.
6. It’s like a mini getaway on the weekends because the only thing you’re worried about is making it for the opener (if they’re good).
7. It’s an excuse to buy sundresses that you’ll only wear for one concert. And for boys, it’s an excuse to act like a man to impress the ladies.
8. Jason Aldean is back on this tour and we are all wanting to “take a little ride” with him.
9. If you’re not country, buy a pair of cowgirl/boy boots anyway and rock ‘em.
10. I know you can’t sit there and tell me you don’t want to see Luke Bryan shaking it two nights in a row.
With a lineup like that, who wouldn’t want to spend the money on it? So spread the word, save your money, beg your parents, and buy the ticket! You won’t regret it.
