Don't Break Your Bank This Holiday Season!
DECC

Thanksgiving was just this past week and now that we've had enough turkey to hold us over until next year, the holiday shopping season is officially upon us! Although I'm sure many people have already started, there is many of us who are last minute shoppers. Just as last minute shopping might be a problem, we also have the issue of not breaking our banks just to get our dear family members what they deserve this season! So, if that sounds like an issue you're struggling with, don't fear! There are many options and stores that have some great quality products with prices that will have you jumping for joy!

1. TJX: Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, and Home Goods

These stores are all part of the same company. Known for their great deals and cheaper prices than most other stores, these stores don't need Black Friday sales to make a huge impact in their sales. All three stores receive similar items that vary in product type. Home Goods is a wonderland for all those with a soft spot for interior decorating or organization; HG carries items from housewares to furniture to kids' toys, to pet beds, and 15 foot tall Christmas trees. T.J. Maxx carries more products on the clothing side of the spectrum. Marshalls is known for a little bit of everything, at some of the best prices around; Marshalls carries everything from home accessories to clothing for all children and adults to car gadgets and makeup palettes. The TJX stores receive products from all over the world including from countries like Italy, Portugal, and Germany. You can find well-known brands at every store including Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Nine West, Nicole Miller and hundreds more! So, if you want your loved ones to have a great holiday season without breaking your bank, you should head on over to a TJX store today!

2. Burlington

Burlington is another retailer very much like the big company mentioned above. You can find incredible prices on some good quality products for all of your loved ones! Watches, clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, home decor and more! You won't believe that you're getting such great quality products when you look at the price tags in store! But believe it, maybe even pinch yourself! Burlington is a great place to get your loved ones what they truly deserve!

3. Bath & Body Works

Who doesn't love winter candy apple scented lotion? Or a twisted peppermint candle? Nothing screams 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS' more than a winter themed candle, lotion, or soap! Not to mention that Bath & Body Works has great '2 for 1' and BOGO deals during this season! Stop on down to a Bath & Body Works store near you and you're sure to find something for everyone!

4. Lush

Scrubba Dub Dub! Now, not all people are bath people, and they don't have to be to enjoy Lush products! Lush sells eyeliners, lip balms, lotions, soaps, and of course bath bombs! For those who aren't sure of exactly what to get, Lush has all sorts of fun wrapping paper and packages full of different products from all sections of their stores! There's something at Lush for everyone no matter whether they are male or female or whether they shower or bathe! Lush will not disappoint!

It doesn't matter if you have a very limited budget or if you want to try something new this holiday season! There are plenty of options out there to help you give your loved ones a great holiday season minus the worry and stress of breaking your bank! So forget the 'cha ching' and give those jingle bells a ring! This holiday season should be a great one!

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?
