Don't Blink!!!

To The Rising High School Freshman...

To the eager rising freshman that is ready to be in high school.... don't blink!

High school is hard... you'll fall on your face more than once and feel like you have no one in your corner! You'll want to give up, but don't, just start over... it will be worth it in the end! From your very first day of high school to your last... take it all in, you won't get it back!

Go to every football game & participate in school functions... you are not too cool for them! Dress up for the homecoming days... go all out! Join school groups early... don't wait till your senior year, you'll miss out!!

The friends you have now... you probably won't have them going into your senior year... but it's okay, you'll make more and lose more!! Find a couple of good friends and rock with them till the end!!

Be nice the the kid that always gets bullied, you'll probably learn something new and learn something about yourself!

Wear jogging pants to school... you don't have to dress up everyday, I promise no one will think badly of you! Be comfy... you have no one to impress!

Go after that boy or girl... but don't get caught up on them and let they take over your happiness... they aren't worth it and won't matter after you graduate! Have fun... don't get caught up in the drama!

High school is not all fun and games, at times it will get hard and you'll want to give up and quit and scream and cry.... do all that, but start over after you're done. And other times it's a walk in the park and you think you've got it under your belt and nothing can ruin it!

Take that AP class and do your best at it! Take a college class or two... your freshman year is important, don't mess it up... it may be tough, but keep pushing, it'll be worth it in the end!

And lastly, don't wish your high school days away... because before you know it, it'll be time for your junior prom and you blink then you're going into your senior year with all your best friends wishing y'all could go back in time and do it all over again to spend more time with each other!

Sooo to the rising high schooler.... Don't blink, it got by faster than you think!!

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
